Flush Blush: Trish McEvoy Liquid Face Colour

Yes, yes I am a little blush-obsessed recently. This little baby from Trish McEvoy came into my possession recently and oh boy I love it. It's Liquid Face Colour in Shade 1, and the colour inside gives the lie to the outer pink casing, because it's actually a shimmery coral. Yes, another coral. Nothing to see here, move along. Well, only move along if you don't want to find out more about this baby.

I love the packaging - it's chunky, feels good in the hand and looks pretty. It does cost €39, so I guess it should. A definite money-no-object splurge buy, is it worth the cash?

If you're a bargain hunter and you like reliable products that perform at affordable prices, then you'll definitely think the cost for 3.8mls of product is a complete no-no. But if you're into high-end beauty and will spend on brand names, packaging and formulations, then yes, you'll like this a lot. I know I do - the brush applicator does it for me anyway, putting me in mind of companies like By Terry, and the actual colour is flattering and easy to use and control - a good bet for blusher nervos.

I apply with the brush but blend with fingers - the head is too small to blend properly and anyway it'd get all muckied up with foundation, so I'm happy with that. The result is buildable, but using a small amount gives you a ever-so-slightly shimmery, peachy finish. It's very pretty, and you can see a swatch below.
