Really enjoyed the talk this evening. The goodie bag is fab!

Definitely worth the extra couple of minutes using sun protection for the effect it will have on your skin later on.

I’m a La Roche Posay convert – SPF50 all the way and just started using Clarins SPF30 for eyes. Can’t believe I used to tan my face in the sun with no sun cream-seeing the effects now, but hoping I can prevent further damange. Scary stuff.

dress junie, that’s scary stuff alright. remember years ago having a go in a sunbed.. those free 3 min trials. the fact that my freckles were all noticeable darker after 3 mins, scared the crap out of me. Factor 50 all the way. Was looking for eye cream with spf in healthfood shop the other day and the girl in there told me irish people don’t have to wear suncream, spacer.

On the topic of sun protection, can anyone tell me where in Dublin one can get any of the Hamilton range of sun care?

I’m currently using La Roche Posay on my face, but haven’t found a cream that I find comfortable to wear everywhere else.

I’m all signed up to go – defo. Get awful bad sunburn every year, despite lashing on the factor 50. So hopefully it’ll be as informative as it sounds.

Feel like a bit of a freak going on my own, though! Haha.

Excellent. Speaking as a pale-blue person who’s worn sunscreen every day for the last ten years, ever since the scare of a Thing To Be Reoved from the neck. It was OK in the end, but I was very very very scared and wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Plus, there’s so many great sunscreens out there, and moisturisers with sunscreens – and even using SPF 15 / PPD 6-8 daily, rain or shine, makes a huge difference.

And goody bags … Love the Hamilton, by the way. One of the few physical-only sunscreens in Ireland (the sensitive one), and the most affordable by far.
