Always on the lookout for lovely nude nail varnishes, I’ve recently accidentally stumbled across a good ‘un that treats as well as adds a bit of colour to talons. Sally Hansen’s Age Correct Growth Treatment promises longer, healthier nails with just 5 days use and while I’m always inclined to be skeptical about these paint-on jobbies, I have to say that this one has been working really well for me.
Relatively quick drying, it contains vitamins, hydrolyzed protein, rose oil and soy oil to moisturise, hydrate and reinforce nails, and the blurb also promises that it’ll “instantly mend splits to create a layer of protection to resist splitting, peeling, yellowing, layering and cracking”.
My nails, which are absolutely desperate for splitting, flaking and breaking, have all actually managed to grow to a decent length at the one time which is pretty much unheard of, and the fact that this is a nice pale non-streaky white-pink rather than one of those clear, shiny treatment polish that leaves tips looking translucent and a bit yella is an added boon!
