She-Ra I switched from Prescriptives mineral make up to Laura Mercier’s version a few months ago, (in despair because Prescriptives in House of Fraser in Belfast never ever had any pale shades in stock). I use the laura mercier primer, concealer and then mineral make up. I’ve terrible skin, very sensitive, prone to acne etc., but the LM stuff seems to work just as well as the Prescriptives. It’s slightly mored fiddly, but looks more ‘finished’ than the Prescriptives, and I find the shade much more flattering. Space NK in Belfast has a Laura Mercier rep who offers free make overs – I can recommend her if you’re interested in investigating the brand, she’s very good at explaining how to apply the foundation etc. I think she occasionally works at the Space NK in Dundrum too.

Oh my god! I really can’t believe it’s going. Not fair! Panicking now…. their all skins mineral make up in the only foundation that has thus far worked on my very crazy skin! Can anyone please, please recommend another mineral brand that might do the trick for mad adult acne skin?

I feel bad for the SAs working there – horrible if they thought they had work until Jan and now going two weeks before Christmas. Not nice for them.

I was chatting the SA on the counter in BT the other day and she was saying that a lot of their stock is gone, such as the gel liners which I was looking for. She said they were still getting supplies of stuff for foundations, but that was it. She seemed to think they would be open until the new year, but they obviously changed their minds.
