All (beautiful) Change at Dublin Airport Departures

Recently we got you all excited about going away with a Rate It on airport shopping, and if you're traveling out through Dublin any time soon you'll get to take a look at some brand spanking new beauty bits, which will no doubt leave you even lighter of pocket.

There are new Bobbi Brown and Benefit counters, as well as a fab new Boots in Pier D. But in a way, so what, they're just beauty counters and stores, and the airport has tons of those already. What is a new departure (groan) is the Nail and Beauty Lounge, located in the new-fangled bit of  the departures area, between piers A and D.

Ok, so we know other airports like Heathrow have Elemis experiences for super-fanciness, but I think our new addition sounds mighty fine. Open from 5am to 9pm seven days a week, nail products come courtesy of Jessica, facials use Dermalogica and  it appears that it's Tardis-like too, because this is a full-service beauty bar:  waxing, tanning, manicures, pedicures, gel nails, massage, facials and body treatments are all available and all come in under 55 minutes.

But hang about - what if you don't have that amount of time to spare? That's where multi-therapist treats come into play, so if you're rushing you can have a manicure and pedicure simultaneously, or two or three therapists can roll up their sleeves to speed up the waxing process. Smart.

Prices? A Jessica Manicure costs from €25, Dermalogica facials start at €30 and Thal’ ion Body Treatments begin at €35. Booking is advisable but not essential, and I'll definitely be checking this out the next time I go through.
