According to the afternoon show fitness guy, the estrogen in spray deodorants can contribute to the ould bat wing effect on the arm so you are better off with a roll on, interesting.

being sweaty doesent bother me as long as its not smelly. everyone does it, or is supposed to do it.
that said i do keep a stick of the harder stuff around for when im attending a “fancy do”.
the rest of the time i use Toms of Maine, aluminium free, honeysuckle rose.
on the topic of anti sweat methods, the first time i heard about Botox was a docu on weddings in LA and the bride and her mother were getting it injected in their armpits and the palms of their hands to stop them sweating during the wedding. so they wouldent be able to sweat for weeks.
now that cant be good for you.

i started using weleda deodorant. love it! and natural essential oils, i always fell before that i was breathing in the chemicals when i was spraying!

Only in the last couple of years have I become the type of person who sweats for no apparent reason, and no deo worked until my mum came home with this stuff one day. Failsafe!!

mindymarillo – you poor thing, with poor feet! I know it sounds daft, but talc? or baking powder / bicarbonate of soda?
On hands – I know someone who has the sweaty-palm thing, and his job involves a lot of hand-shaking (no, not Bertie!!!). He uses blotting papers – keeps a small pack in pocket, put in hand occasionally or when he know shaking is coming up.
And Mitchum’s an antiperspirant as well as deodorant, I think??? Also, it’s made by Revlon and not tested on animals (I’m what the Scottish side of family would call “soft” on this sort of thing, I’m afraid).
