Pre-Party Upper Arm Fix Fails To Impress

Oh, I am aaaaall about the pre- and post-party solutions at the minute. This may have summat to do with the fact that my work Christmas do is on Friday night, which has managed to creep up out of nowhere and catch me on the hop a bit. Nothing to wear, of course, and not a bit of tan organised, and no chance of sorting meself out in the interim (er, mostly because I was stuck to the sofa last night watching Harrison Ford Blade Runner and heading out to dinner tonight.)

Anyways, something I'd read in a magazine came back to me during a lull in the movie last night, which was an article that reckoned you could achieve temporary, evening-long toning of the muscles in the upper arms just by doing a set of 25 press ups. Thinking that this would be poifect prep for a sleeveless dress for Friday night, I decided that I might as well have a trial run.

I reckon this is something that could work well - if you were already super-fit and can actually manage 25 shaggin' press ups, in which case you probably don't need to worry about the state of your upper arms.
