My feet are the one part of me that I avoid putting on display whenever possible. My toes are a wierd-y shape and a bit knobbly and look their very best hidden away in a nice pair of brógaí.
But the one place where there's no escaping the mingingness of my feet is Out Foreign in the sun, so I did make an effort to pretty them up before heading on hols. Even so, after four days in flip-flops traipsing around the South of France, they are now proper crubeens.
Cracked heels, corns and calluses - oh yes, in addition to odd-looking toes I now have the feet of a 70-year-old former salsa queen. Ugh! So I will be praying to the ever-reliable Vichy for a miracle on my return to the auld sod and slathering on products from their Podexine foot care range. The Callus Corrector contains salicylic acid and anti-friction spheres and promises to moisturise and soften feet, reduce existing calluses within a week of use while preventing new ones from forming. The Cracked Heel Repair cream contains Palmityle A to help reconstitute the skin and heal splits, fissures and cracks - an improvement should be visible after just two days of use.
