I like a lot of M&S beauty stuff and I LOVE their Truly Cherish perfume (I think it was mentioned on Beaut before but I had discovered it before then) but they have this annoying habit of discontinuing products. I have bought things in the past that I really liked such as eye cream and cleansers only to go back and find they don’t do them anymore. So the next time I find something I like in M&S I will have to buy it in bulk!

Feel a bit stupid asking this (the whole bronzing thing is still very new to me although im a veteran cosmetic user!!) but how do you use this stuff? Do you use it all over your face or like a brusher? Is it really shimmery and does it suit daytime wear? The bricks are certainly very pretty but 38 is too much…

I would rate M&S skin care ranges. REally nice…

Aphrodite – the same thing happened to me with my Smashbox Shimmer thingie. I got it as a Christmas present and it was already broken. Grrrr! But the bronzer/blusher colour is fab!

Was in boots at lunchtime and no7 have a shimmerbrick out, it looks nice enough…might try it with my bonus

I have to say, even though the BB shimmer brick is dear, it does last for ever and ever. Consider it an investment.

I use it to highlight cheeks and brow bone as well as my collar bone if my top is low. I have the Beige one. Great stuff.

I have a bronzer from M&S and its fine – have found the eyeshadows and blushers to be forgettable.

I purchased a pout bronzing shimmery yoke off ebay there last week for €11 – not too sure if its a bit too shimmery though. Prefer to use my rimmel sunshimmer and then highlight with it.

hey my sister has the shimmer brick from bobbi bronwn!!! she loves it.it looks so sleek and i have to admit i have “borrowed” it a few times!!!!! how much is the one in M&S?

Morning all,
I purchased a couple of things from the Autograph makeup range last year – an eyeshadow compact and a lip stick, and I have to say, the quality was very poor. Eyeshadow was chalky with really bad pigment, lipstick was very forgettable. Love M& S for food, undies, tights, basics like t-shirts etc, but not a fan of their makeup. Won’t be purchasing this I’m afraid!

No cheaper than the Bobbi Brown – but I LOVE the Smashbox shimmer brick thingy. It’s double sided with blusher/bronzer on the bottom, eyeshadow stripes on the top – gorgeous. Unfortunately the eyeshadow part er smashed – but I’m still using it!
