StriVectin-SD: 5 star review

strivectin

Kirstie blogged about the wonder cream Strivectin a couple of weeks ago and Ava impressed us mightily with her knowledge of its magical properties.

Ava likes her skincare products and I can tell from her comments that she knows her Boots from her Bliss. She told use she rates Strivectin highly - I had to hear more!

"I've been dabbling with eye creams for a while but after turning thirty I decided it was time to get serious about preventing the arrival of crow's feet. The skin around my eyes had definitely become drier (particularly after any alcoholic overindulgence) so I wanted to go for something very moisturising but not too heavy either. I'd read a lot about Strivectin SD and it had been featured in the In Style Beauty Hall of Fame several years in a row, as being very effective, so I decided to give it a try. The manufacturers blurb is as follows:

Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles around the eye. Includes additional soothing agents for the delicate skin around the eye Same functional compound as the original StriVectin-SD without aromatic oils.

I think I paid about €90 for it in Harvey Nichols and I am very, very impressed with it.

The skin around my eyes is smooth and clear and not a hint of a fine line.

You only need a tiny amount and it's very soothing and easily absorbed, absolutely no greasiness or heaviness and you can apply make-up immediately afterwards without any fear of it slipping down your face! I've had my tube for about a year now and it's still going strong, so overall I think it's actually very good value for money given it's effectiveness. I've heard several reports of people using it all over their faces actually and I can see the temptation!

Five stars from Ava!"
