Mascara Excitement - Lancome Launch Fatale

fataleIt's always good news when Lancome launch a new mascara - I've long been a fan of their fab offerings. Definsils, Flextensils and Amplicils have all had a go on the eyes of Kirstie.

The marketing blurb for this new one, Fatale, has given me pause though. It promises that this new mascara will "plump your lashes with exceptional volume glamorous fatal look". Huh? I read it again. Yep, it still said fatal. I'm assuming that they don't literally mean this mascara will kill us, and that this is just a typo.

I hope.

Moving swiftly on, the reason it's so good is all thanks to "its patented 3D comb applicator and its coating formula with Filtexâ„¢, it plumps and sculpts the lashes to create exceptional volume in a single stroke". It promises not to clump and leave annoying build up on the lashes.

What's this Filtex stuff when it's at home then? It's the fab non clumpy stuff, apparently. Lancome say that "combining a plastifying agent and a silicon-based polymer, Filtexâ„¢ organises a fine, strong mesh on the lash to sculpt and plump it up, and preserve its well-defined curve. This polymer network lastingly captures the fillers (waxes and pigments) on the lash, and encourages their even distribution".

Ok, that sounds pretty good. I am believing the hype. I'm totally going to have to get it too. If you're also keen, then you'll be please to know that Fatale is available in five shades and costs €23.
