If you were still in any doubt that a veggie lifestyle consists of much, much, more than lentil bake and er, chickpeas, then tomorrow will prove you wrong.
Dublin will celebrate World Vegetarian Day tomorrow (Sat 6th Oct) in Cultivate, Temple Bar.
The Annual Fair is the biggest event in the Irish vegetarian calendar – and is a can’t miss for anyone interested in health and nutrition, whether you’re vegetarian or not. The schedule for the day is packed with delicious food tastings from some of the top vegetarian restaurants in Ireland, cookery demos and a range of stalls with info on every aspect of vegetarian health and nutrition. Talks promise to be interesting and lively and will take place throughout the day.
So get thee to Cultivate, Essex Street West on Sat 6 October (11am – 5pm) to enjoy.
Who knows – you might be converted if you’re not already. Plus you might discover (as I have) that lentil bake is actually really nice!
