Bourjois Turning into Benefit?

smokey eyes

I have a sneaky suspicion Bourjous are definitely out to emulate Benefit in the cheapy makeup stakes, cos they're certainly making big inroads into cutely designed palettes with a specific focus recently.

Obviously you won't get the same quality, cult status or formulations, but you will get dinky little products designed to do one specific job - and that's very Benefit. Bourjois have already launched their Petit Guide de Style palettes, of which there are six. They're designed to provide you with an easy way to get a specific eye makeup look, and each comes with a mirror, 2 shadows and an applicator.

They proved a big hit for Bourjois, and they've now launched a their Smokey Flowers collection, which is basically a capsule collection allowing you to easily create dramatic eyes in 3 colourways - grey, purple and dark green.

The core products are shadows from their Little Round Pots collection, which you layer and use wet and dry to create your look. You complete it with Liner Feutre felt-tip eyeliner, and Bourjois' ultimate volumising mascara - Volume Glamour Noir.

The results look great, and the graphics are good too - way to go Bourjois!
